今日も朝からバタバタ。朝5時半に起きて、息子と夫のお弁当を作り、朝ごはんを作り、そして、息子と夫が起きてきて、朝ごはんを食べる。6時半に息子と夫が家を出ていく。慌（あわ）てて、「いってらっしゃい」と送り出す。
それから、娘を6時半に起こして、朝ごはんを娘と一緒に食べる。7時から、娘は計算ドリルと漢字の勉強をする。そのあと、少しピアノの練習をして、8時10分に「いってらっしゃい」と娘を送り出す。娘が学校に行くのと同時に、私はジョギングに出かける。30分ぐらいジョギングをして、家に戻る。それから、洗濯物をして、家の片づけをして、今日のitalkiのスケジュールをチェックする。これが、私の日課。

I have a busy morning as usual today. I get up at 5.30 am to make lunch for my son and husband and cook breakfast. During my cooking, my son and husband get up and eat breakfast. They leave home at 6.30 am. So, I rush to send them off and say 'Itterashai 「いってらっしゃい」'.
After sending two men, I wake my daughter up at 6.30am and eat breakfast with her. From 7am, she studies calculation drills and kanji characters. After that, she practise the piano a little and send her off at 8.10am with a ''. 「いってらっしゃい」. As soon as she leaves for school, I go for a jog, which takes about half an hour, and return home. Then I do the laundry, tidy up the house and check today's schedule on italki. This is my daily routine.

Latein – ja oder nein?

(A)  Lange Zeit war es in Deutschland ein UNVERZICHTBARER Teil der höheren Bildung: Latein. Vieles sprach dafür: Die Beschäftigung mit dieser alten Sprache zwang Schüler dazu, detaillierte Grammatik-Kenntnisse zu erwerben. 
(B)  Wer weitere Fremdsprachen lernen wollte, konnte IN DER REGEL auf dieser Basis aufbauen. Nicht nur Grammatik, auch ein Großteil des Vokabulars findet sich in modernen romanischen Sprachen wieder. Selbst für das Englische sind Lateinkenntnisse sehr nützlich. 
(C)  Und schließlich basiert im Deutschen fast das ganze Spektrum an Fremdwörtern auf der lateinischen Sprache. Anders ausgedrückt, wer Latein kann, hat kein Problem, sich auf einem hohen sprachlichen Niveau auszudrücken.
(D)  Und doch legen neue Studien nahe, dass man heutzutage besser Zeit und Mühe in das Lernen einer modernen Fremdsprache investieren sollte. In unserer globalisierten Welt kann man nicht früh genug damit beginnen, sich Sprachen anzueignen, in denen man konkret mit anderen Menschen kommunizieren kann. Wer dann noch Zeit und Lust und Energie hat, kann Latein ja jederzeit als Hobby betreiben.

Whether you live to work or you work to live, having a healthy work-life balance is good for both you and your employer.

Here are just a few ways to keep your balance healthy!

Plan
It can help to plan your time, making sure to include social activities in those plans, says Allaya Cooks-Campbell from job coaching website BetterUp.

Even scheduling a night in front of the TV is enough — it will give you a bit of time to switch off.

If you're able to, you could also plan to take short breaks during the day, and perhaps even use them to take a walk or read a few pages of a book.

Use apps to help
Cooks-Campbell also suggests using an app to block distracting websites during the work day — which might include things like social media.

You can then do the same in the evening and block work apps, if you find it difficult to stop checking them.

Be kind to yourself
It's important to be realistic about your work-life balance, and not to get too stressed if you don't follow your plan. That's according to Kate Eby from work management company Smartsheet.

Being kind to yourself, she says, can help you improve your mental health.

Talk to your boss
If you're finding it difficult to get your work-life balance right, speaking to your manager may be a good idea — although not everyone will feel comfortable doing this.

It may be that you have been given too much work to do, or there is a better way to do it — and talking to your boss could help you work smarter, not harder.

However, Cooks-Campbell says different things work for different people — so you have to find what's right for you!
