Marta siempre había oído decir que los espejos guardan secretos, pero nunca lo creyó… hasta aquella noche. Estaba en su nueva casa, una antigua mansión que había heredado de su abuela. En el pasillo principal había un gran espejo enmarcado en madera oscura. Esa noche, al pasar frente a él, notó que su reflejo no imitaba su movimiento. Se detuvo, asustada, y vio cómo su imagen sonreía de manera siniestra.

Aterrada, retrocedió, pero su reflejo se quedó allí, mirándola fijamente. De repente, la imagen levantó la mano y señaló hacia la puerta del desván. Marta sintió un escalofrío, pero su curiosidad fue más fuerte que su miedo. Subió las escaleras y abrió la puerta crujiente. En el centro del desván había una caja polvorienta. Al abrirla, encontró una nota escrita con letra temblorosa: "No mires detrás de ti".

Su corazón se detuvo. Sintió una respiración helada en su nuca y escuchó un susurro que decía su nombre. Cerró los ojos, pero el miedo la paralizó. Al mirar nuevamente al espejo, su reflejo ya no estaba. En su lugar, una figura oscura le susurró: "Ahora tú estás al otro lado". Marta gritó, pero su voz quedó atrapada en el cristal. Desde esa noche, cada vez que alguien pasa por ese pasillo, jura escuchar un golpe suave que viene del espejo… como si alguien pidiera salir.
