Chinese dates are written and read from the bigger unit to the smaller. 

A year is read digit by digit,followed by the character “年nián”. 

A month or date is read the whole number followed by “月yuè”and “日rì /号hào”respectively. 

A day of the week is expressed by the word “星期xīngqī”plus a specific number. 

For example,“August 8th of 2008, Friday” is read as “èr líng líng bā nián bā yuè bā hào, xīngqī wǔ”.

こんばんは！
Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

さて、今日は、夏の風物詩、ふうぶつし、について話します。

風物詩とは、その季節を感じるもの、です。
この季節といえばこれ、という感じです。

まぁ、だいたいは夏の風物詩、花火の話をする時に使います。

日常生活の会話で使うわけではないですが、ニュースやテレビなどで聞くと思います。

それで、あらためて、夏の風物詩、といえば、ほとんどの人は花火、と言うと思います。

それぐらい、日本人は夏の花火大会や祭りが好きです。

ぼくは7月の終わりに、北海道から地元の大阪へ引越をしました。大阪に久しぶりに戻ってきて、日本語教師の仲間と一緒にご飯を食べて、いろんな話をしました。

その時に、花火大会の話になり、改めて日本人にとって、夏の花火大会は生活の一部になっているなぁ、と感じました。



それで少しだけ花火大会の始まりについて調べてみました。

打ち上げ花火のはじまりは、江戸時代だそうです。
1733年に隅田川で行われた水神祭がそのはじまりです。

その当時、飢饉・疫病が流行り、たくさんの人が亡くなっていました。

その慰霊のために祭がひらかれ、打ち上げ花火があげられました。

もとはそういった、暗い気持ちを取り払う目的から始まった花火は、夏の川開きなどの行事と結びつき、今は夏を楽しむ1番の行事になっているようです。

特に8月は毎週末、いろんな場所で、たくさんの花火大会があります。夏の夜に少しだけ涼しさを感じながら、(いや、ぜったい暑いですが、楽しめるものとして定着しました。

今この時期に日本に旅行に来ている方や、日本で生活を始めた方は、ぜひぜひ、旅行先や住んでいる場所の花火大会を探して行ってみてくださいね！

もちろん、人はたくさんいますし、電車もめっちゃ混みますので、気をつけて行ってくださいね！

北海道から大阪に帰ってきて、夏を感じたので、今回はこんなトピックにしました。
