دیروز رفته بودم خونه‌ی دوستم مهمونی
بعد از اینکه یه فنجون چایی خوردم، ازم پرسید:

«یه چایی دیگه بریزم؟»

گفتم:

«نه، ممنون.»

دوستم خندید و گفت:

«تعارف نکن، یه چاییه دیگه!»

گفتم:

«باشه، پس اگه زحمتی نیست، یه چایی دیگه می‌خورم.»

تعارف بخش مهمی از فرهنگ ایرانه. بعضی وقت‌ها آدم‌ها از روی ادب اول «نه» می‌گن، حتی اگه واقعاً دلشون بخواد قبول کنن.

It means:

تعارف (Ta'arof) = Iranian politeness/custom

Ta'arof is an important part of Iranian culture. Sometimes people say "no" even when they actually want to say "yes", just to be polite. That's why Iranians often offer something more than once. It's a way of showing respect and hospitality.

= If it's not too much trouble

Example:
اگه زحمتی نیست، یه چایی دیگه می‌خورم.

Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

さて、ドイツのケルンをいよいよ出て、次へ向かいます。
オランダですね！

オランダでは、4カ所行きました。
Maastricht、Amsterdam、Rotterdam、Utrechtです。

ケルンKölnからはバスに乗って、Maastrichtマーストリヒトまで行きました。たぶん、2時間ぐらいでつきました。

今回の旅行で初めてのバスだったので、少し不安でしたが、大丈夫でした。

バスは出発の時間になっても来ません。
でもこういうのは少し慣れてきました。しかもこのバスのアプリで遅れて着くことがわかるようになっていました。

そうして、10分ぐらいおくれて着いたバスに乗りました。
ドイツからオランダへ国境を越えるので、出国、入国とかどうするのかなと思っていましたが、パスポートをチラッと見せただけでOKでした。EU圏内だと、国を越えるのは本当に簡単なんですね。日本の中の隣の県に行くぐらいの簡単な感じでした。

それで2時間後、無事にオランダのマーストリヒト、という街につきました。ここは住みたい場所の有力候補として期待して行きました。
