El Clásico cuento de Navidad de Charles Dickens (Tales)

こんにちは～！マルハバ！サウジの日本語の先生、佳子です＾＾
みなさんー！お元気ですか？私は元気ですよ～！今日は「ポットラックパーティー」についてお話ししたいと思います。

先週末、サウジに住んでいる日本人の方々、約25名と一緒にポットラックパーティーをしました。長年サウジに住んでいる日本人の方のお宅で開催されました。その方のお家は郊外にある新しい住宅地にあり、築3年の豪邸でした。息子さんは留学中なので今はサウジ人の旦那さんと二人暮らしとのことですが、本当に広くて、パーティーにぴったりのお家でした。
ポットラックパーティーなので、みなさん1品料理を持ってきました。手作りの人もいれば、買ってきたものもありました。ジャークチキン、チキンティッカ、たこやき、ポテトサラダ、フェタチーズサラダ、サンドイッチ、ピザ、鶏のからあげ、たいやき、抹茶のムースなどです。私はファッタサラダという中東のサラダを持っていきました。コリアンダーの葉を細かく刻んで、ヨーグルトソースとオーブンでかりかりに焼いたパンとひよこ豆をのせたサラダです。お好みで松の実や細かく刻んだアーモンドをトッピングします。時々、サウジのお母さんが作ってくれるのですが、多分今まで食べたサラダの中で一番好きなサラダかもしれないです。作るのは簡単なのですが、コリアンダーの葉を茎から摘む作業がとても大変で、サラダ全部を作るのに合計2時間以上かかったと思います。夫も少し手伝ってくれました。
そんなこんなで、みんな気に入ってくれるかどきどきしながら持って行ったのですが、、、現地で盛り付ける段階から、注目してくれて、食べた後も「本当においしかった。レシピ教えてほしい！」と何人かの方から言われました。作るのは大変だったけど、持って行って良かった！
席は自由でしたが、主に子連れなしの方々と一緒に座りました。2時間以上同じ席でゆっくりお話を楽しめました。
やっぱりこうゆうカジュアルなパーティーは最高です。また参加できたらいいな～。
