Traditional Chinese Medicine subject considers cold things will cause the body to get cold which influences Yang deficiency or blood stasis. When I was little, my mother always told me that don’t drink cold water, eat less ice cream, instead of that, drink hot water. 

But, if you want an iced drink, what can you do? It’s elementary, just say:  
我要冰的。 Wǒ yào bīng de – I want the cold one.’ ’冰’‘s meaning is ‘冰凉的（ice-cold）’。In the south of China, they use another word too, ‘冻(dòng)’.So, if you’re in Guangdong, you can also say such as’我要冻的- I want the cold one.’ or 冻啤酒(ice beer)’ and so on.

我是一名医生，工作很忙。我不会做饭，一般也不在家里吃，下班以后经常去医院旁边的饭馆吃饭。后来，同事们告诉我，可以用手机点外卖，又方便又便宜。我试了一个星期，感觉太好了。我现在每顿都可以吃不同的东西，昨天吃饺子，今天吃面条，明天吃三明治，太幸福了！ 
                      Diǎn wàimài
Wǒ shì yì míng yīshēng ，gōngzuò hěn máng 。Wǒ bú huì zuò fàn ，yìbān yě bú zài jiā lǐ chī ，xià bān yǐ hòu jīngcháng qù yīyuàn pángbiān de fànguǎn chī fàn 。Hòulái ，tóngshì men gàosù wǒ ，kěyǐ yòng shǒujī diǎn wàimài ，yòu fāng biàn yòu piányi 。wǒ shì le yí gè xīngqī ，gǎnjué tài hǎo le 。Wǒ xiànzài měi dùn dōu kěyǐ chī bù tóng de dōngxi ，zuó tiān chī jiǎozi ，jīntiān chī miàntiáo ，míngtiān chī sān míng zhì ，tài xìngfú le ！
