Привет! Это мой подкаст «По-русски легко»! Мои студенты иногда спрашивают меня: почему в России так много праздничных нерабочих дней? Я уже рассказывала про длинные новогодние каникулы в январе. А сегодня я расскажу вам, почему в России люди много отдыхают в мае.
Прежде всего, как мы узнаём, когда и сколько нерабочих дней будет в следующем году? Каждый год Правительство Российской Федерации утверждает производственный календарь на следующий год. Потом газеты и интернет-ресурсы публикуют актуальный календарь. Люди знают когда и сколько у них будет нерабочих праздничных дней.
В мае в России празднуют два важных праздника. 1 мая — Праздник Весны и Труда, 9 мая — День Победы.
В 2025 году 1 мая – это четверг. Поэтому россияне отдыхали с 1 мая по 4 мая – четверг, пятница, суббота, воскресенье
9 мая — День Победы – очень важный праздник в России. Люди буду отдыхать 8, 9, 10, 11 мая. Это значит, мы не будем работать с четверга по воскресенье. Итак, это будет короткая рабочая неделя, всего 3 рабочих дня – понедельник, вторник, среда.
В этот праздничный период будет много официальных мероприятий. По всей стране пройдут концерты, парады, выставки и фестивали. Это очень интересно. Если вы будете в России, я рекомендую вам посмотреть. 
Многие люди берут дополнительные дни отпуска и уезжают отдыхать в отпуск на неделю. А ещё в майские праздники люди ездят на дачу, на пикник или просто гуляют в парках.
