Key Concepts to Feature in Your Episode
1. The "CHEYY" Bridge and the LEGO SWAP Rule
As your title suggests, cheyyuka (to do/perform) acts as a grammatical anchor
. The LEGO SWAP Rule allows a speaker to take almost any English verb and "plug" it into Malayalam grammatical structures
.
How it works: You take an English verb (the "LEGO block") and add a specific form of cheyyuka.
Examples: Instead of learning complex native Malayalam verbs, you can simply say call cheydhu (called), check cheyyunnu (checking), or drive cheyyum (will drive)

2. The Foundation: The Survival 8
To effectively use this bridge, your listeners only need to master eight specific patterns of the verb cheyyuka. These are the high-frequency forms that cover most conversational needs
:
Past: cheydhu (did/tried)
Present: cheyyunnu (doing/trying)
Future: cheyyum (will do/try)
Willingness: cheyyaam (let's do/try)
Obligation: cheyyanam (must do/try)
Negative Past: cheythilla (did not do/try)
Present Question: cheyyunnundo? (are you doing/trying?)
Future Question: cheyyumo? (will you do/try?)
3. Mastering Commands and Requests
