I'm a terrible driver . The first time I took my driving test , I forgot to fasten my seat belt, so I failed.
The second time , I didn't signal when I was turning left and I failed again. 
When I finally passed and got my driving license, a police officer stopped me for speeding. 
A few weeks later , I went through a red light and hit another car .
Luckily the other car wasn't damaged , but I had to pay 350 dollars on my insurance to get my car fixed and then I ended up getting a fine for driving through the red light.

はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストのシーズン２の１回目です。シーズン１の最終回は７月でしたから、３ヶ月ぐらいお休みしていたことになります。お休みしている間にも、Youtubeでチャンネル登録者数が増えていました。どうもありがとうございます。

Hello. This is my podcast episode 1 of season 2. The last episode of season 1 was in July, so I was on a break for about three months. Even while I was on a break, the number of subscribers to my Youtube channel increased. Thank you very much.

この３ヶ月、私は何をしていたかというと、大学の入学準備を進めていました。私は大学で美術を勉強しましたが、もう一度大学に行って、今度は教育学を勉強することにしました。教育学では、教育史や、心理学や、社会学など、先生になるための勉強をします。京都に教育学で有名な大学があります。私は現在大阪に住んでいて、京都に電車で一時間ぐらいで行けるので、そこに行くことにしました。大学の授業はほとんどオンラインなので、仕事を続けながら受けることができます。大学は今月始まったばかりです。

What I have been doing for the past three months is preparing to go to university. Before, I studied art at university, but I have decided to go to university again, this time to study education. In education, I study the history of education, psychology, sociology, etc., in order to become a teacher. There is a university in Kyoto that is famous for education studies. I currently live in Osaka and can get to Kyoto by train in about an hour, so I have decided to go there. Most of the university’s classes are online, so I can take them while continuing to work. The university classes just started this month.

EL PAPEL PICADO MEXICANO.

El Día de Muertos se representa con diferentes elementos, como la comida de los difuntos, las flores, las veladoras, etc. Pero, sin duda, uno de los más importantes es el papel picado, tan colorido, volátil y divertido que nos fascina. Además, hay quien asegura que si una ofrenda no tiene papel picado, el color y el viento no se representan correctamente en cada altar.

El papel picado está hecho de un papel que no es mexicano y tiene su origen en un sector social un tanto desprotegido gracias a la colonización y las importaciones provenientes de otros países. De ser parte de la unión entre México y Europa pasó a formar parte imperante del Día de Muertos.

El hermoso y colorido papel picado nació en el siglo XIX, cuando China importaba papel de colores como blanco o negro —de ahí viene el nombre “papel China”— pero éste era llevado a Europa y de ahí llegaba a nuestro territorio. No obstante, no se vendía mucho ya que no tenía un uso real o útil pues es ligero y aunque resistente, su fin se avistaba cercano.

Así, las tiendas de raya ubicadas en las grandes haciendas lo vendían, pero no para hacer papel picado, sino para utilizarse en casa. Al no venderse, los peones eran obligados a adquirir pliegos de papel para darles un uso. La leyenda cuenta que en alguna de las tiendas vendían el papel picado y explicaban que así se utilizaba en China, del otro lado del mundo y es real.

En China se utiliza el papel para crear arte, pero sobresalía esta técnica en la que se cortan figuras en trozos de papel, lo cual se trasladó acá y se llama hasta la fecha papel picado. Puebla era el lugar al que más llegaba el papel China y por ello, eran los habitantes quienes más lo adquirían, más específicamente, Huixcolotla. Así, los peones además de dedicarse a las labores agrarias aprendieron a cortar el papel y al ver que eran bonitas y se podían producir en grandes cantidades, decidieron venderlas en poblados cercanos.
