さて、今日は動詞のフォームに注目して、N4,N5で出てくる基本的な表現についてお話します。

動詞のフォームとは、ます形、辞書形、ない形、た形、て形などのことで、ぜんぶで　１２のフォームがありますね。
その中で今日は、「ます形」を使う表現について　お話しします。

ひるごはんを　たべましょう。
ひるごはんを　たべませんか。
ひるごはんを　たべにいきます。
ひるごはんを　たべたいです
ひるごはんを　たべましょうか。

これらはすべて動詞のます形を使っています。

「ひるごはんを　たべましょう」は
「たべます」の「ます」が「ましょう」に変わるだけです。
意味は”Let’s have lunch.”です。

「ひるごはんを　たべませんか」は
「たべます」の「ます」が「ませんか」に変わるだけです。
意味は、”Shall we have lunch?” です。

「ひるごはんを　たべにいきます」は
「たべます」の「ます」を「にいきます」に変えます。
意味は、“I’m going to have lunch”です。　この文では動作「いきます」の目的を言っていますね。

「ひるごはんを　たべたいです」は、
「たべます」の「ます」が「たいです」に変わるだけです。
意味は“I want to have lunch.”です。
”I don’t want to have lunch.”なら、「ひるごはんを　たべたくないです。」になります。
つまり、「たべます」の「ます」が「たくないです」に変わるだけです。

「ひるごはんをたべましょうか」は
「たべます」の「ます」が「ましょうか」に変わるだけです。
意味は“Shall we have lunch？”です。話している人が聞いている人に　何かすることを提案offerしているんですね。

今日は２グループの動詞「たべます」で説明しましたが、１グループ、３グループの動詞でも同じです。「ます」をそれぞれの表現に変えるだけです。かんたんでしょう？

ほかにも　まだ「ます形」を使った表現はあります。
