This openness is what gives vowels their clarity and resonance. In American English, vowels are especially distinctive and can change the meaning of words entirely. For example, compare bit and beat—a small difference in the vowel sound, but it creates two completely different words."

・北海道は今とても暑い
・7月29日には、 熱帯夜になりました。
・とても暑い夜で寝苦しかったです。
・熱帯夜とは、 夜の気温が25度以上のことをいいます。
・本当に暑くて、寝苦しかったです。寝るときにとても苦しい感じがしました。
・東京は、38度とかでとても暑いみたいです。
・東京に住んでる人に聞いたけど、本当に立っているだけで汗が出るそうです。
・北海道は、東京と比べると、暑くありません。
・ただ、 私の部屋にはエアコンがないので本当に暑いです。
・エアコンは、部屋を暖かくしたり、涼しくしたりする道具の事です。
・北海道には、エアコンを持っている家は 半分位の家ではエアコンが付いてます。
・実は、これは最近のことなんです。
・5年ほど前には、北海道にはほとんどエアコンがついてる家がありませんでした。
・どうしてかと言うと、北海道の夏はとても短かったからです。
・もし暑い日があったとしても、夜は涼しかったです。
・だけど、今は熱帯夜になる日もあります。エアコンを家につける人が多くなりました。
・私の家にはまだエアコンはありません。
・だから、家の中にいると本当に暑いです。
・汗をかきながらレッスンをしています。
・熱中症に気をつける必要があります。
・熱中症は、暑すぎて 体が悪くなってしまう病気です。
・水をたくさん飲んだり、よく寝る必要があります。
