この例文での「ひっくり返す」の使い方は　どうでしょうか？

私はちょっと違和感（いわかん）を感じます。

辞書には、このように書かれていました。
「ひっくり返す」は　裏表を逆に向けること
「逆さまにする」は　上下、前後、裏表など　本来あるべき状態と反対にすること

ですから、先の例文は「自転車を修理するために、逆さまにする必要がある」のほうがいいのでは？

そして、「ひっくり返す」は、「パンケーキをひっくり返す」ならイメージがぴったりですね。

Today's word "hikkurikaesu"

Japanese translation for "turn the bike upside down"  is "Jitensha wo hikkurikaesu".  Is it right?
I feel a little bit strange.  This word "Hikkurikaesu" means reversing front and back.
We have other word for "turn upside down", that is "sakasamanisuru".
Sakasamanisuru can be used for turning up-down, right-left, front-rear, and front-back. 
So, I think "sakasamanisuru" is better for that sample sentense.

"Jitensha wo sakasamanisuru."
