7. La torta o tarta (cake)

はい、こんにちは。洋平先生です。えーっと、今日はちょっと、大切な話をしたいと思います。
特に日本にこれから住む人や、今住んでいる人に、とても大切なことを話しますね。
みんなの日本語の49課と50課で、尊敬語と謙譲語を習いますよね。ちょっと私、個人的に 早すぎるなと思うんですね。まだ初心者ですみんなの日本語語の初級50課まで終わっても初心者なんですよ。

で、尊敬語、謙譲語というと、 日本人でも間違えるんですね。むちゃくちゃな尊敬語、むちゃくちゃな謙譲語を使っている日本人がたくさんいます。で、そのむずかしい言葉を初心者に教えるというのは、うーん、どうなんだろうと思ってるんですが、ま、みなさん まあ大人が多いですよね。みんなの日本語を使って勉強してる人は大人が多いですね。会社に入ると、やっぱり尊敬語と謙譲を話す機会（きかい）が多いと思うんで、まあ、しょうがないですよね、うん、しょうがないです(笑)。

ですが、ちょっと大切なことを多分、たくさんの日本語教師が教えてないんですね。で、それは、日本語は正しい日本語をパーフェクトに話すよりも、 話し方の方が大切な時が多いんですよ。
うん。例えば、みんなの日本語1、中級、中級ですよ。intermidiateの10課の会話ですね。ちょっと読みますね。

・みんなの日本語１中級10課
A：田中さん、きのう、月曜日　””なのに、捨ててありましたよ。””
B：え？どういうことでしょうか。
A：ゴミの中にレポートがたくさん捨ててあってね。あれ、田中さんのじゃないんですか。
B：え、私の？私が月曜日にゴミを出す　””はずがありません””　よ。先週から旅行に行って、さっき帰ってきたばかりなんですよ。
A：え？そうですか。レポートが見えたから、てっきり田中さんのだと思って。
B：レポートを書く人　””なんて””、たくさんいますよ。
A：ああ、ごめんなさい。


でえ～っと、ポッドキャストのところにも会話を書いたんですけど、あのマークがつけてありますよね。
・月曜日なのに捨ててありましたよ。
・ごみを出すはずがありませんよ。
・書く人なんてたくさんいます。

えーま、こういう文ですね。これらの文は、言い方によってとてもきつい強い言い方にもなるんですよ。 
えーっとですね、えー日本人にとって、ちょっと高い声で優しい声を出すことが 大切なんですよ。えー、例えば高い声分かります？高いははーです、低い声があーです。 

でいいですか。例えば、あータナカさん昨日月曜日なのに捨ててありましたよ。
ちょっと優しいですね、気持ち悪いですか(笑)？　はい、私が月曜日にゴミを出すはずがありませんよ。 
レポート書く人なんてたくさんいますからどうですか。ちょっと 変ですか。気持ち悪いですか。えーでもこれが結構大切なことなんですよ。うん
で低い声で、早いスピードで話すとちょっと日本人にとって怖い「怒っているのかな、この人？」という印象（いんしょう）が強くなるんですよ。
はい、ちょっとこのポイントをを頭に置きながら、あ、皆さんにちょっと勉強してほしいなと思うんですね。はいいかがでしたか。

＃23　そんけい語より高い声！

Hello. Today, I will talk a little about the way to say "20 years old" that comes up in the first Chapter of Minna no Nihongo.
At 20 years old, it’s fine to say “にじゅっさい” (nijussai), but there’s also another way to say it: “はたち” (hatachi).　Japanese counters can be challenging to remember, as they are not “いちさい” (ichisai) but rather “いっさい” (issai), and not “しちさい” (shichisai) but “ななさい” (nanasai). Occasionally, there are completely different expressions, like for 20 years old. It can be difficult, but let’s do your best to memorize them.

As for “はたち,” in Lesson 5, the date “20th”  is also expressed as “はつか.” Perhaps ancient Japanese people used the character “は” to mean 20. Connecting these two ideas might make it a bit easier to remember. Keep up the good work!

Now, a little update regarding my course: I have launched a new Minna no Nihongo course. The content is exactly the same, but it can be taken with two people. It’s also possible with three or more, but in that case, the lesson fee will change a little bit.
Of course, just like the regular Minna no Nihongo course, there will be plenty of homework. If anyone would like to take it with a friend, please give it a try!
