        你知道996是什么意思吗？996是一种工作时间，早上九点上班，晚上九点下班，也就是一天工作十二个小时；6指的是一个星期工作六天。有人说，996算什么呀，我的工作007呢！007，也就是晚上0点上班，晚上0点下班，一个星期工作七天，这意思就是每一分钟都在工作，没有下班时间！你可能要问，怎么可能会有007呢？还真有！下班时间突然收到同事的短信，吃饭的时候突然领导要求来个线上会议，睡觉的时候突然被电话吵醒做个PPT。没有明确的上班和下班时间，人不在公司却要随时拿出手机、电脑工作，这可不是007嘛！

       996和007指的都是一种加班文化。加班也就是在规定的上班时间之外增加的工作量。常常还没有加班费！在这种加班文化下，员工自嘲自己是“社畜”，“社”在日语里是“公司”的意思，“畜”是牲畜，也就是动物的意思，还得是那种为人类工作的动物才能叫做“畜”。唉，工作那么辛苦，就像一头为公司工作的畜牲一样，没有自己的生活，只能为公司卖命。

       那在中国，为什么有996这样的加班文化呢？我觉得有这么几点原因。

       先从自己身上找原因，可能员工的工作效率不高。996的十二个小时真的都在工作吗？不一定。中国大部分公司都有午休文化，中午的时间有两三个小时那么长。工作时间和同事聊聊天、说说话，吃吃点心，玩玩手机，时间就在摸鱼之中过去了。“摸鱼”这个词来自“浑水摸鱼”，原来的意思是在不干净的水里，鱼看不清楚方向，这时候摸鱼更容易，可以得到意外的好处；现在“摸鱼”这个词就是偷懒、不认真工作的意思。所以可能在公司呆的时间很长只是因为做事情太慢，效率太低。

      再从文化上找找原因。老板不走，员工也不敢走；同事不走，我也不敢走。这是一种攀比和从众的文化：好像我比你留下来的时间更长，我就工作得更努力，这就是攀比，在不好的方面和别人比较；别人都没离开，我也得和大家一样，不能一个人离开，这就是从众，和大多数人做一样的事情。所以啊，大家就越留越晚，在办公室的时间越来越长，谁都不敢按时下班离开。

       当然啦，加班文化下，老板和公司也有很大的问题。可能老板喜欢开一些没有意义、浪费时间的会议；可能老板不能安排好工作计划，布置任务的时间不合理；可能是公司的文化鼓励大家多加班，把加班说成“福报”，把“加班”说成是幸运的机会。但是我认为，996和007，是一种低效率而且不尊重个人时间的行为。

I have a lot of interesting topics to talk about. But of course, you are welcome to bring up your own topic.

In this episode, I want to show you one example of the discussion topic. It’s about my imaginary city, Subara City 素晴市 （スバラしsu ba ra shi）.   The name is derived from 素晴らしい（すばらしい）and 都市（とし）.   素晴らしい means “wonderful”, “magnificent”.    市 means “city” and when placed at the end of a word can be pronounced as “shi”し.   So here I name my imaginary city 素晴市（スバラしsu ba ra shi）or “Subara City”.  In this episode, I’m introducing English lessons, not Japanese. I just want to let you know how I made up the name.

The theme of the story is that you have just been elected to the council for Subara City. You have 6 billion Yen in your budget. What can you do? Listen through. Below here is a simple worksheet to give you more ideas.

(1) Carbon Footprint
Main cause of pollution is old factories on the edge of the city. They have to be relocated.

Make a Difference in Subara City

There are many reasons why you should speak about money in the workplace such as salary negotiations, sales and purchasing, accounting, budgeting and resources... the list goes on.

However, whatever the reason there are always some drawbacks to discussing money:

You are talking about your money. The person you are engaging with will be focused on their money. You might need to check the basic assumptions to check that you and your opponent are talking about the same thing as often this is not the case. You need to express different perspectives and points of view on values, inputs and outputs, and ownership, etc., which can be difficult, and sometimes delicate, to do.

SHIFT THE FOCUS FROM PRICE TO VALUE

Talk in a way that places focus on the benefits you can offer your counterpart and not what claims you want to make for yourself personally. What savings can you give, what profits can you enhance? This is also particularly relevant when you are in an interview, as you can show what an economical advantage it would be for you to be hired rather than the next person, as businesses are always interested in those that can help boost business!

El Aguacate Mexicano.

México es el primer productor mundial con un volumen de 2 millones 29 mil toneladas de aguacate en 2017.

Las entidades con mayor volumen de cosecha son: Michoacán, Jalisco, México, Nayarit y Morelos, en conjunto suman 95% de la producción total del país.

El 82.7% del valor de la producción nacional del fruto corresponde a Michoacán, sin embargo, Jalisco y el Estado de México mostraron un gran dinamismo en el volumen.

De acuerdo con datos del Servicio de Información Agroalimentaria y Pesquera (SIAP), las características geográficas adecuadas para la producción del aguacate son las siguientes:

Altitud: 1,600 a  2,200 msnmm.

Lluvia: 1,050 a 1,150 mm.

Temperatura: 15 a 19 grados centígrados.

Edafología: Suelo permeable y profundo, franco-arenoso sin calcáreos ni cloruros, pH de 6.0-7.5
