¿Sabías que América Latina tenía sus propios tipos de abejas antes de la llegada de los colonizadores? ¿Sabes lo que eso representaba para la región en esa época y hoy? Es tanto así, que a pesar de su abundancia y gran número de especies, cuando las personas oyen la palabra “abeja” solo la asocian a la abeja amarilla y negra, Apis Mellifera, la más común a nivel económico, por esto es importante ampliar el concepto, ya que la denominación “abejas” tiene un sentido más amplio y se refiere a miles de especies que, en general, pasan desapercibidas para el hombre, así como sus aportes en la polinización de cultivos y producción de alimentos.    Это   Виктор   и   Лена.   Они   муж   и   жена.   Они   ещё   очень   молодые.  Виктор  и  Лена  студенты.  Они  учатся  в  Петербургском  университете.
   Виктор  и  Лена  очень  любят  друг  друга.  Они  живут  вместе  2 года. Они познакомились, когда отдыхали на Чёрном море.
   Лена москвичка. Но сейчас она, конечно, живёт в Петербурге, потому что здесь живёт её муж.
   Недавно Лена была в Москве. Там она видела папу, маму, брата, подругу.  Родители  спросили,  как  живут  Лена  и  её  муж.  Лена  сказала, что они живут хорошо, что у них всё нормально.
   Сейчас  Лена  не  учится,  потому  что  она  ждёт  ребёнка.  Лена  хочет девочку, а её муж — мальчика. Виктор и Лена — хорошая семья.

Вопросы:
1) Где учатся Виктор и Лена?
2) Сколько времени Виктор и Лена живут вместе?
3) Когда они познакомились?
4) Где Лена жила раньше?

A boy named Merryl is on a date with a girl named Honey. He realizes he can't remember the names of certain items so he tries to explain what he means by using the wrong words. Later he goes to the store and to the doctor and has the same problem.

Vocabulary:
salt and pepper shakers: containers for salt and pepper
thingamajig: a word people use when they don't remember the right word
pepper spray: a spray used for self-defense
baby wipe: a moistened paper towel used to clean a baby
napkin: a paper towel used to clean the mouth after eating food
smushed: smashed
pico de gallo: salsa used in Mexican food
croutons: small pieces of toasted bread used in salad
cooking spray: a spray that keeps food from sticking to the pan
goo: sticky, thick substance
salad dressing: a liquid mixture used for salads
stethoscope: a tool doctors use to listen to a person's heartbeat

I was sick so I took the opportunity to focus on casual vocabulary we use in English when we're not feeling well.

It's a shorter episode because it was only me, but in describing my illness, I focus on more vocabulary than usual:
