Hi everyone! 👋 Welcome back to the podcast. In this fifth episode, we are going to talk about a very common and useful topic for Spanish learners: the family, possessive adjectives, and demonstratives.

You will learn essential vocabulary for family members, how to use possessive words like mi, tu, and su, and how to point people out using demonstratives like este, esta, estos, and estas. We will also review the verbs tener and estar (for marital status), explain how dual surnames work in Spanish-speaking countries, and briefly practice what we learned about por, para, and porque.

By the end of this episode, you'll be able to present your own family, talk about your relatives with confidence, and communicate more naturally in Spanish!

Aprenderás el vocabulario esencial de los miembros de la familia, cómo usar las palabras posesivas como mi, tu y su, y cómo señalar a las personas usando los demostrativos este, esta, estos y estas. También repasaremos los verbos tener y estar (para el estado civil), explicaremos cómo funcionan los dos apellidos en los países hispanohablantes y repasaremos brevemente lo aprendido sobre por, para y porque.
