I am a fan of Anime and I want to understand what they are saying without subtitles.

I went to Japan with my family on a trip and realized that I could read many of the characters (because I read Chinese) but I couldn't speak. After coming back from that trip, I really wanted to go back regularly with my family. My kids started getting into Japanese anime like One Punch Man, Demon Slayer and started playing a Pokemon. They started with some Japanese lessons on italki. I figured it would be a great common hobby to have with my children... learning a new language together. It's been about a year now and I've really enjoyed learning Japanese. So much great content on YouTube, Netflix and on the internet too!

I visited Japan around 2018, and I loved it. I find the language beautiful with how it sounds and flows and want to learn how to speak it.

I began learning japanese by myself before originally 'cause of anime and a general interest in japan. Now adays its so I can communicate better when i go to japan and to understand music hehe

I like Japanese. And my favorite hobby is learning languages, I wanna learn more languages to understand the world better, but the main reason is that I wanna know more Japanese cultures.
