Hi everyone, whats the meaning of 'send along' in following sentence? "well, I'll send all the information along." Can't we use the following instead? "well, I'll send you all the information." I appreciate any help.

‘To Send’ means to go, to deliver, or to take to a particular location. When you say you will send something along, you are saying you are going to deliver something to the person you are talking with. Normally, the verb ‘to send’ can not be used in the present simple tense. It is often used in past tense and future tense. Examples: “Can you send me those pictures?” “I’ll send you these pictures in a little bit” “They sent the pictures last night” “She will send the pictures to everyone tonight” Keep learning!

They essentially mean the same thing but send along emphasizes that you'll send the information soon/not immediately.
