I am learning the topic and subject markers in Korean grammar I know there is 이/가 은/는 예요/이예요 can someone please help me know where they apply and more information about them?

Also when you intend to do comparison, use 은/는.

There is no such a word like 이예요. We have only 예요/이에요. 예요 is abbreviation of 이에요. If the noun ends with a vowel you can use 이에요 instead 예요. Ex) 사람 이에요(o) 사람 예요.(x)사람 이예요(x) On the other hand, If the noun ends with a consonant you can use 예요 instead 이에요 Ex) 얼마 예요?(ㅇ) 얼마 이에요(x)
