Indonesia is a country with rich culture. We Indonesians have respectful manners and are friendly to foreigners, especially in tourist hotspots like Bali. It is important for foreigners to understand and respect local traditions-, for instance, in Bali, Balinese people will pray every morning by putting a kind of incense and flowers in front of their house or store, which foreigners should try not to step on. As a land of god, there are tons of temples, sacred places, and other things in Indonesia which foreigners need to pay attention to. To any foreigners reading this, I say: whenever you see something covered up with a checkered cloth, please wear modest clothes if you’re taking a picture with it, even if you are on the beach, in order to show respect.
