Farhana Qureishi
Are these sentences grammatically correct and natural enough? ▪ Whenever I eat/have my dinner in residence hall I ask myself, "What are you eating? This doesn't taste good nor is it nutritious! Then suddenly my mind starts arguing with me saying; 'What can you expect for only 18 taka?' You know beggars can't be choosers!" P.S: Residence hall: a college or university building where students live

Hi Farhana. Yes, they are perfectly natural. Grammar: Whenever I have my dinner in the residence hall, I ask myself, "What are you eating? This doesn't taste good nor is it nutritious!" Suddenly my mind starts arguing with me, saying: "What do you expect for only 18 taka? You know beggars can't be choosers!"
