KFC is good, but can it beat Korean market-style fried chicken (시장통닭)?
This evening, I was on my way back home after work. Then, an amazing smell of fried chicken from somewhere made me turn around. I immediately spotted the restaurant where the smell was coming from and ordered fried chicken from there for a takeaway. It happened so quickly. lol.
The thing about market-style fried chicken is that it doesn't have as much meat on it as fried chicken dishes you'd get from major franchises like BBQ Chicken, Kyochon and BHC. But sometimes, something special about market-style fried chicken makes me choose it over those expensive, regular fried chicken dishes.
When I got back home, I ate the takeaway chicken with rice and kimchi even though it isn't a popular way to eat fried chicken. 😂 I guess the fact that market-style fried chicken goes well with rice is one of the reasons I like it.
Have you tried Korean market-style fried chicken before? If you have, did you enjoy it?
