Yes, I play guitar. I choosed to play guitar because when is was in the high school, there had a kind of musical band who's always play in every event of my school, so I wanted to be part of them and I learned to play guitar in my house with YouTube videos and with my brother who at that time plays the guitar much better than me.😊

(1) What you wrote works, but “at every school event” sounds more natural.
(2) Again what you write is fine, but I think “wanted to join them” sounds more natural.
