To me the key point is to keep coherence in your sentence… what about this paragraph?
I cleaned my room yesterday because it was messy. My mom always say that I should keep my room clean. Then, it is clean! and I feel satisfied.
Tip: by saying that you are refreshed means that your strength is restored. Clearly, you are restored when you rest, wash yourself but not your room
