I recently ate these Vietnamese rolls. I made them using rice sheets, as a wrap, which were then stuffed with chopped cabbage, sliced carrots, chopped spring onion and two full shrimps. However, I didn’t make the sauce, I bought it!
Hi, Pam. Good job! The word “rolls” is plural, so you cannot use “this,” which is singular. Since they were created in the past, using “made” is correct in your second sentence. However, in your third sentence, you are using a narrative to tell us about the sauce, and we use the present tense (make) for that. As to the food, “with rice sheets” is okay, but I think “using” works better. Obviously, you did not use a full head of cabbage, nor a full carrot, etc., so be sure to tell us how and what you did. Anyway, your Vietnamese Spring rolls look delicious and have definitely made me hungry. (*-^)
