How should I self-learn Polish? I'm not sure how to learn a language. I'm also not sure how to take/make effective notes for Polish. I'm also a visual learner and I don't remember much of what I learn. If you have any tips, let me know

Read and listen a lot. I recommend LingQ for that purpose. You can have paid premium version to save words and so on, but you can also not save any words and just do the translation in a third party file/notebook etc. I think crucial in the first part of learning is getting used to Polish sounds sz, cz, ch, rz. If you need a tutor i think comprehension based classes will be the best. I provide TPRS classes in Polish, which means you get a lot of repetition of target phrases plus you are asked same questions hundreds of times so you'll eventually get acostumed to normal conversation with a native. Do you have Polish ancestors? Are you on Learn Polish group?

Hej! I like to separate my grammar notes from vocab, because I can find the rules more easily. I would also recomend to listen a lot of your target language (podcasts, tv shows, news, etc.). You can acquire a good accent by listening to native speakers. With visual learners flashcards (fiszki) might be useful. On one side you draw the meaning, on the other side the word you’re learning. Though I believe that when you hear the word in context and for long enough, it will be remembered on a subconscious level. Of course it’s easier with a teacher, but that doesn’t mean that self study is not possible. You can also start with a teacher to learn the basics and find a language partner later on when you can communicate a little bit. Good luck :)

Cześć, jak się masz ? My best suggestion is take an italki lesson and get comfortable with a teacher, also if you are comfortable with that said teacher then get a nice note book write down in your notebook of all the stuff you worked on in class to help you remember also writing in your preferred language also gives you a good base and good memory practice speaking small sentences. Also Rome wasn't built in a day so it will take time keep at it being persistent helps hope this helped you out. :) Cześć 👋

If you want I can teach you some Polish in exchange for some English conversation practice for my daughter. I am a teacher in Poland so I know how to teach :)
