It's sunny today, with a gentle breeze sweeping away the heat. I woke up early to join my dad in welcoming my uncle's family at the airport. My uncle is tall and robust, much larger than my dad. Around noon, my dad chose to take them out to eat at a fancy, authentic Cantonese restaurant – the kind that serves tiny, picturesque dishes more suitable for photographing than for satisfying hunger. Even I could tell that they left the restaurant still hungry. Nevertheless, the focus wasn't really on the food to begin with. They drank up two big bottles of something looks strong throughout the lunch, and the first thing my dad did after the meal was dash to a liquor shop to prepare more drinks for dinner. It turned out that my uncle is much more of a drinker than my dad, so beyond all doubt, they will have much to "discuss" tonight. I hope we won't miss the train tomorrow morning.
