Hi! We arrived in time for the movie and managed to get seats. Is it right or should there be ON time instead?

In time is the best choice here. It basically means before or inside the time limit. You usually use on time for scheduled things that need to start or end exactly at a time. I was on time for the interview. We got to the station in time and the train left on time.
