輔導教師INSTANT LESSSON
Has anyone here already tried booking an instant lesson? And for the teachers/tutors, has any of you already received an instant lesson request? If yes, then is it like the instant tutoring feature before here on iTalki wherein you would get a pop up notification on your screen with a timer and a bell sound?

I activated it about an hour ago but I've got no requests so far! I love that this feature is part of italki now and I am super excited to try it!

I was quite happy to see this new feature. I haven't tried it yet, but will soon. From what the FAQ says, this is only for 30 minute trial lessons and only on the iTalki teaching platform (not over Skype or similar).
It seems the purpose is mostly to attract new students for the teachers, so it's more than welcome for a new teacher like me.

I haven't had any luck booking lessons with students so far maybe this new feature is just what i need
