There are some problems children can face when they go online. For instance, the time they spend on the internet. Going online can be an addictive activity that could make you engaged for a long time. I think parents should control the time their children spend online. Another thing parents should control is the contents that their children consume online. You can find a lot of inaproppiate content for young people, that's why every parent should stay be their side during online activities, or at least they must know what they are doing on the net. Social media can also be negative sometimes for young people. First of all, because they may want to be like some people (eg: influencers, celebrities), and this can make them depressed if they don't achieve it. Also, we saw that social media can be a platform where they people are bullied. There are a lot of great and positive activities for children to do online, but I certainly think that we must control the problems that children can face on the internet.
