Quiet usually refers to sound. So, a quiet environment would be one where there is little noise. It's the opposite of loud. Calm means peaceful, relaxing, free from stress and anxiety. So, a calm environment would be one where there is no arguing or fighting. People are peaceful and get along well. Hope that helps!
