Describe the weather of the city today: Vietnam is a country located near the
equator, so it has a tropical climate, which means it’s hot and humid with a lot
of rain. Vietnam has both a tropical climate zone and temperate climate zone,
with all of the country experiencing the effects of the annual monsoon.
Therefore, there are lots of heavy rain that falls during the summer. The
difference among the 4 seasons is not too clear. Therefore, it can be said that there are only 2 typical seasons:
summer and winter. I’m currently living on the South Central Coast. It's now summer. This is also the hottest period of the year. The
temperature is between 32 to 38 degrees Celsius, and can reach to 40 degrees
in the afternoon. In this season, the average temperature in
the countryside is below 30 degrees, due to the shade of the trees. In crowded cities, the living
environment is totally affected by smog, and the heat of air conditioners, so the
temperature always reaches over 40 degrees Celsius.
