I see so many 'corrections' on here that are simply wrong that it is difficult to know what to do. Typos are one thing, we can all suffer from those, but some are ludicrous. 'In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king' I suppose...
Generally I just give my version without saying someone else is wrong. Should I?

Well, as a student I do hope you correct those corrections if they were so wrong. On the other hand, I believe most students here can tell who is right or wrong, because it just doesn't sound right, even though we can't explain the problems grammarly.

In recent weeks the number of corrections made by new tutors has increased considerably, as they seek to catch the attention of potential students. In some cases these corrections do not correspond with my version of correct written English, and it is often the inappropriate use of adverbs and conjunctions by non-native speakers that is the problem.
I do the same as you if I decide to make a correction, and hope that the reader takes account of it having been made by a native speaker. There used to be a ’downvote’ option which could be used in extreme cases, but this was misused in the discussion section and has been removed.

I think it's okay to politely say the other answer is wrong in your answer.
