It’s overcast and drizzly today—pretty uneventful overall. With a big bank holiday coming up, we took MeeMaw and Great-Grandma out to Paddy Field for dinner, our family’s go-to spot. Dad swears by their fish and chips, and of course, their draft beer as well. Honestly, though, these kinds of dinners aren’t really my thing. Most people wrap up a meal out in an hour or so, but once the drinks start flowing, it feels like it’ll never end. Their conversations never quite click with me, either. By the time I got bored enough to zone out, my phone had already died. Still, it was a nice day overall.
