Under the weather- someone feels ill. "Are you feeling under the weather today?" It's an old nautical term. A sick sailor would be sent below the deck of the ship, so he was protected from the weather. He was literally under the weather!

Hi, Butter! That's a fun question. I like the idiom "like talking to a brick wall". If talking to someone is like talking to a brick wall, the person you are speaking to does not listen. I've tried to talk to him about the house repairs, but it's like talking to a brick wall.

the first idiom i ever learnt was “to be in the same boat” meaning that you are in the same situation as someone else 😅

Here's another one: the pot calling the kettle black something you say that means people should not criticize someone else for a fault  that they have themselves: Elliott accused me of being selfish. Talk about the pot calling the kettle  black!
