About failure
I have always heard the saying "failure is the mother of success," but when I encountered failure, it was still very difficult. Everyone hopes to succeed on the first try, but there are too many unexpected things in life.
In March of last year, I took a teacher qualification exam. I actually prepared for it with a full-time job, so in order to have enough study time, I got up at six in the morning every day, and continued studying after work. During that time, I even wore gloves while doing the exam practices, since the weather was very chilling day and night. The exam consists with three parts, one of which was English. I thought my English was relatively good, so I didn't spend much time on it. However, my English score was not qualified in the end, and I had to wait for another 7 months to take it again. It was because of the unqualified English exam that I couldn't fail to reach the plan as expected, so this failure truly hit me hard.
Through this failure, I realized that in order to succeed, I must be well-prepared as much as possible. If I had spent more time on that English exam, I would not have failed. Later, in October of last year, I took the exam again. Unlike the first time, I spent more time on analyzing subjective questions, and finally I achieved satisfying results, and thus passed my exam entirely.
