Yesterday was my third time going to my Korean course. The teacher is Korean and she teaches us (entirely) in Korean even though we are all beginners. Honestly, till now I still have a hard time keeping up with the teacher during class. She speaks quickly and completes a lesson in 3 hours. In this case, I need to spend lots of time on revision and pre-reading as I can’t handle(cope with) the lesson during the course. Hence, here is the thing…😓 She usually arranges an interaction session during the last 30 minutes of a lesson. Yesterday she gave us pieces of paper with information about our role and other people’s role on it. Hence, we needed to stand up and walk around the classroom to talk to each classmate in Korean in order to find out other roles which are on our paper. It is horrible for me! I looked at the paper and I didn’t know the words at all. I absolutely couldn’t understand the paper at all. This time everyone stood up and talked to people around them. As for me, I felt like an illiterate, I was not confident speaking Korean with others. I just wanted to escape… I am an introvert, and the interactive sessions were a massive challenge for me. Having to interact with a lot of people in a place where I have absolutely no confidence was so hard!!😱😱😨
