The correct answer is "offence" (US spelling: offense). Here's why: While all four word have similar meanings and might be interchangeable to a degree in other sentences, the word "take" limits what you can use. This is called a "collocation," which is one a series of words appears together more often than would be expected by random chance. "Take" collocates with "offence", but none of the other options.
