It was overcast today. In math class, we worked on geometry, in particular on calculating the area of different shapes. I memorized those formulas, it was easy. But it took me a while to grasp how to find the height of a triangle when it's not a right-angle triangle (I suppose that was what you were looking for, but correct me if I'm wrong). Sometimes the triangle is super slanted, and figuring out the height means you have to extend the base line to meet the perpendicular dropped from the vertex. Still, I prefer geometry over arithmetic/calculus. Working with a ruler and compass is way more fun than doing endless calculations on scratch paper.
