I’m gonna get my hair cut this weekend. It is for the first time in a year. I usually do that more frequently but I didn’t due to the pandemic. The reason why I decided to go a hair salon is my 6 month old daughter often pulls my hair.

You can use gonna or going to, but gonna is grammatically incorrect, even though it’s popular in messages and social media.
