As I mentioned before, one of my passions is cars. I love washing my beloved car. Personally, I will feel a bit disappointed if the tires are dirty even though the boy is super clean. I came across an online article "The Proper Washing Method of Tires And The Timing to Replace Them". I would like to summarize and share some of the interesting points here.
The tires are easier to be noticed their dirt. The article said washing them too often by detergents can be damaged. The main components of tires are rubbers and they are very delicate. They starts aging and are damaged by ultraviolet rays. That's why they have components for aging prevention and the components coat their surface. However, washing tires too often by detergents might remove the protective film. So, how should we wash them? The answers are as follows,
1) Rinsing inside tire houses thoroughly with high pressure water.
2) Scrubbing tires and wheels with a brush and sponge.
3) Getting rid of small stones out of tire groove with a brush.
4) Wiping water out with a cloth. Getting rid of wafer on wheels so that wafer stain is not left
I'll try to follow this instruction in the future when I wash tires.
