I prefer to live in cities, due to the children education and some other facilities like health, transport etc. Although I like the environment and nature of suburbs, but living in city is my compulsion.

I prefer to live in cities, due to the children education and some other facilities like health, transport etc. Although I like the environment and nature of suburbs, but living in city is my compulsion.
I prefer to live in a city because there are better education opportunities for children. There are also other facilities like hospitals and public transport. Although I like the environment and nature of suburbs, living in a city is what I prefer.

… children education… - no article, as we make generalisation
… but … - is extra, as ‘although’ is already used
… in a city… - means in any city, in one of many of the same kind
