My mother-in-law gave us a bag of cassava flour months ago. She said we could dissolve it in water for cooling down our bodies. However, since it tastes bland, we have hardly touched it. We have some bean cake in the fridge that no one wants because it is too sweet. One day, yesterday to be exact, I felt in the mood for some sweet soup, so mixed the flour and the bean cake with milk and cooked it well. I had it in mind to add some coconut milk and coconut rice to that but, having none in the house, just served the dish as it was. To my surprise, my whole family liked it.
"Therefore" is a strongly logical word that is useful when precision is important. It is better to use a softer word like "so" when logic has little importance.
