What’s the difference between “Sağ ol” and “Teşekkürler”? When I’m asked “Nasılsın?”, what should I say, “Sağ ol” or “Teşekkürler” ?

Teşekkür ederim /teşekkürler - Thank you (standard varient) Sağ ol - thanks (it is very informal way) Actually, Turkish is very interesting language...there is a similarity with English, in the sense they also havr some phrasal verbs. How do they usually make them: Noun + verb Davet (invitation) + etmek (to do) = davet etmek (to invite) Yemek (food) + pişirmek (to cook) = yemek pişirmek (to cook food) etc I hope I helped you. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.

"Sağ ol" can simply be thank you .if you're curious about the word right in detail Sağ =alive or right Be a alive in the future It may seem absurd when I examine it in detail, but I wanted to explain the second meaning of" Sağ"

They are used interchangeable, also one after another if you want to thank more than once :) Çok teşekkür ederim, çok sağ olun. Teşekkür is Arabic origin, sağ ol / olun is pure Turkish. Teşekkür only expresses graditude but sağ ol is also a good wish (be healthy, long live, I wish you health)

There is no difference. -Nasılsın? - Sağ ol iyiyim. -Nasılsın? - Teşekkürler, iyiyim.
