My first suggestion is "The Handmaid's Tale", an incredible show that talks about how a society can undermine the role of women and those considered different from a context using the religion to command and rule the people. Great acting. Amazing plot and a chance for us to think on how we need root for gender equality and the influence of politics on people's lives.
