To be sorry to keep someone waiting
Yesterday I came across with this sentence " I"m sorry to keep you waiting" and I'd like to know wheter is correct or not to say "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting"

In my opinion, they are both correct. The first one would be “Siento hacerte esperar” in Spanish, while the second would be “Siento haberte hecho esperar”. As you see, there is a small difference, but both are correct to me!

I don’t think so while grammatically correct “ I’m sorry for keeping you waiting” sounds awkward so the first one is right
