街上小吃
Is Halloween celebrated in China? One friend from Fujian Province said Chinese 过万圣节 is 清明节. He also said they have 亡人节. He didn't recognize 孟兰节. Another friend from Guangdong Province didn't recognize both 亡人节 and 孟兰节. 过万圣节 is not recognized either.

Oh.. That's not true to say 过清明节 is 万圣节, since 清明节 is totally different from 万圣节...

We don't celebrate 清明节 because it is not a happy festival.

清明节 is a day for commemorating our ancesters, family members and friends who have passed away.

I am from Guangdong Province.

People here in my hometown 过盂兰盆节(It is commonly called 中元节 or 鬼节).

On that day We usually show our respect to the ghost by putting paper lanterns on the rivers.

We don't celebrate Halloween in China.

But now many young people in China may think it interesting and spend time with their friends in some Halloween Parties as people in western countries do.

BTW.. Do you come from Indonesia?

Do you celebrate Halloween in your country?

Wynne, I am from Indonesia. Some people dress up as ghosts and fantasy characters then go to shopping malls, pubs, public gathering etc here. In big cities this is more prominent.
