Tomorrow is saturday, wow!!!I have already planned many things since monday:D.But my boss just now informed me that I must come to company to help one of my colleague to finish her work.Oh my Jesus,I heard the broken voice of my plans. To be frankly,I really hate work on weekend, but I have to say:"OK,boss,I'd like to help her very much,I will arrive at company on time."
Mmm . . I don't suppose that you are in a position to refuse to go in to work, although you probably have every right to do so.
See if you can extract some advantage from the situation, by telling your boss how difficult it is for you, because of the arrangements you have already made, but that as the situation is urgent, you will make every effort to help, and you hope that this will not happen again for a while.
Whether it's worth it will depend on the attitude and character of your manager. If (s)he is grateful, that's encouraging; if not, and your willingness to help is just 'taken for granted', start looking for another job.
Sometimes, there is real need. It goes with the job and you know it when you submit your CV. In those cases you should do your job, provided you will get paid for it.
Other times, the need to work during the weekend it's just failed planning and I try to avoid doing somebody else's job in my free time.
