Good evening (almost morning...) from Spain, Vicky speaking!
I'm an illustrator, but I also love acting and make people laugh, so I'm very interested in comedy and any kind of humoristic shows, sketches etc. But humor and comedy can be different depending on the country, so I want to know about comedy in Japan:
-What kind of humor is most common/popular in Japan? What is not popular? What kind of humor do you prefer?
-from what I know so far, japanese comedians are called owarai geinin/tarento, am I wrong? I've been searching on several webs about Japan but I would like to read the opinion of Japanese people :)
-I've seen there are also foreign comedians named "gaikokujin tarento". What do you think about them? I'd love to be a comedian someday... but I need to focus on my job as an illustrator first!
Thank you in advance for your attention! :D
