Hallo Leute! Wie geht's ?

Ich habe eine Frage: When talking about a place that you recently travelled, and if I wanted to ask a friend " Have you been there?" how should I say it in German? 

Is it: 

"Hast du schon dorthin gewesen?" 

or 

"Warst du schon dort?"
